Ballettikka Internettikka explores wireless internet ballet performances combined with guerrilla tactics and mobile live internet broadcasting strategies. Ballettikka Internettikka Intermenttikka secretly broadcasting live from the target construction site in Seoul, performing a robotic mortal ballet right after the sunrise.

Ballettikka Internettikka is a series of tactical art projects which began in 2001. It explores wireless internet ballet performances combined with guerrilla tactics and mobile live internet broadcasting strategies. Stromajer and Zorman are preparing a new arctic New Year's Eve internet ballet broadcasting live from the Olav V Land glacier on Spitsbergen, Svalbard, Norway, Arctic Ocean.

The encounter of art and activist collectives from three continents is a small piece in the mosaic of numerous experiments of symbolic and material social recomposition in times of capitalism's profound systemic crisis. HOMMAGE à trois is a piece based on questioning authorship and ownership of ideas; we are dealing with stretching the territories of copying and originality; we work from an understanding that paying tribute establishes authority, while at the same time undermines it.

The conceptual background of this years' festival "Between Past and Future" relates to the eponymous book by Hannah Arendt who, back in the 1960's, argued that the condition of human existence, robbed of the traditional, transcendental, religious and moral standards employed to bridge the abyss between past and future, lost direction.

In the 2009/2010 school year, the seminar will take place under the heading Artistic and Social Assemblage of Bodies: Contemporary Performing Arts and the Powerlessness of the Political. In its ninth consecutive year, the Seminar will again be composed of internal lectures, a series of public lectures and four theoretical and practical workshops.

What she does has been either dubbed as bug, virus, performance or art; what we can say about it is that it subverts the traditional notions of space, time, body, identity and behavior we inherited from our daily experience.

Štromajer and Zorman are preparing a new Internet ballet – Ballettikka Internettikka Nipponnikka, broadcasting live from Minami Torishima island, Japan. Paciific Ocean. Action to be performed: At the same time that two Suns simultaneously rise from the Pacific Ocean, two robots will walk/dive into the ocean, dancing an early morning Internet Ballet at the easternmost point of Japan, the Land of the Rising Sun.

Borrowing the title from the famous Dean Martin song, this notebook-like performance explores the mechanisms of forgetting, emotional consumption and remembering moments and spaces that have been evacuated or that were never there.

“Sonzai-Kan” means in Japanese: “to sense a presence of something or somebody”. What happens if the sight tells you are meeting a human, but your senses cannot recognize a human being? What determines if one is alive? And quite the opposite: how does a body without life act?
