The focus of this workshop will be on creating with, writing from, studying and critiquing the research products of four unique interdisciplinary research projects initiated by contemporary choreographers Wayne McGregor, Siobhan Davies, William Forsythe and Emio Greco | PC.

The questions we ask are simple: Does theatre has the power to make a change? If so, do students recognize it? Are they willing to use it? Is there a need to use it? What can we learn from other artistic practices?

Simpozij ce se koncentrirati na kinematografske moduse koreografije (moduse koreo-filma, kinematografskog misljenja i prakse u plesu) i time odvesti korak dalje pretpostavke i teme predlozene tijekom Filmskih mutacija: festivala nevidljivog filma, jedne od osovina EDA projekta.

Jedna od osnovnih ideja ovog projekta je obnova bojnog polja - redefiniranje teritorija Kafkinog "metafizickog" ostranjenja unutar konkretnih politickih i filozofskih postavki kojima se on bavio cijelog zivota. PROCESS_IN_PROGRESS je adaptacija cjelokupnog Kafkinog romana uoblicena u VJ operu-performans, u kojoj su suceljeni zivi mediji glumca i videa.

Crime, sexuality and gender are issues that we would like to explore within the frames of our festival. We are interested in wider definitions of crime (in relation to sexuality and gender) which would go beyond the regular time / geography frame as well as beyond concentration solely on the victims – whose destinies leave them displaced, murdered, raped, tortured, killed.

The upcoming winter shedule includes master workshops and guest performances with Frédéric Gies and André Lepecki, artist-in residence program with Isabelle Schad and also artist-in-residence program with Ivana Mueller planned for spring-summer 2009.

Borrowing the title from the famous Dean Martin song, this notebook-like performance explores the mechanisms of forgetting, emotional consumption and remembering moments and spaces that have been evacuated or that were never there.

WHATEVER BADco. is the first issue of a new publishing project titled WHATEVER. The project WHATEVER will be a series of publications whose content, thematic frame, editorial team, publisher, graphic design, format, etc. can be determined by anyone who wishes to publish or edit an issue.
