NOMAD/ Educational programme 2009 is dedicated to the group of up to 12 emerging artists from the Balkans who are motivated and mature to live, learn, work and move together for 4 months, creating a network for future artistic collaboration and continuing to work in contemporary dance.
Plateaux is an international production festival for young artists in the field of experimental theater, performance and live-art. The festival aims to promote new experimental forms of performance by providing them with a professional platform.
The initiative aims to select among the participants twelve young performers from all over the world, who are invited to realize a previously unseen performance on the evenings of October 10th and 11th, 2008 at the Teatro Sociale of Trento.
In the seasons 2008/09 & 2009/10, Shadow Casters are preparing new performances and projects, while continuing the work on current projects.
We invite all interested parties to take part in our work or propose collaboration within the frame of Shadow Casters’ production.
The goal of the workshop is the transmission of an excerpt of the piece dance (praticable). The workshop will consist in working on the different tools that permit to read and interpret the score on which the piece is based. Mainly, we will work on a body practice that approach anatomy and physiology through movement.
For the twelfth time in 18 years the international residency program Akademie Schloss Solitude - located in Stuttgart, Germany - is granting approx. 65 residency fellowships of three to twelve months in duration. International artists are invited to apply from the following disciplines: Architecture, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Design, Literature, Music/Sound and Video/Film/New Media.
Support and promotion of young choreographers, training and professional development courses and the promotion of Contemporary Dance – these are the focal points of the K3 Zentrum. For the third time the Tanzplan Hamburg is offering three residencies within this framework to choreographers at the beginning of their professional career. Ideally, the applicants should have realised their first own works.
vocabulaboratories is an ongoing project initiated by Paz Rojo, Anja Kanngieser and Manuela Zechner. It consists of a series of laboratory spaces for working on self-made conceptual vocabularies, collectively as well as individually. The project runs throughout 2008/09. We would like to invite you to the two labs in 2008.
Artists from all artistic disciplines (installation, video art, net.art, sculpture, creative writing, architecture, electronic music, painting, drawing, performance, photography, etc.) are invited to send us a proposal.
APT is post-graduate training programme, part of PoPoK. It is an open research environment, based on the principles of self-education and collaboration. During a 12 month trajectory the participants are invited to develop their personal research project, in 3 separate blocks of 3 months.
