The 090909 Upstage Festival aims to create a participatory space for collaboration, creation, and for the presentation of current cyberformance. IFA InteatroFestival Academy is the name of the professional artistic project promoted and founded in 2006 by Inteatro. Choresound 09 is a forum and artistic lab that focuses on the process of composing contemporary dance and music. It is a week designed to explore and develop the collaboration between choreographers and composers /music and dance, and to expand the knowledge and experience on related issues.

Crime, sexuality and gender are issues that we would like to explore within the frames of our festival. We are interested in wider definitions of crime (in relation to sexuality and gender) which would go beyond the regular time / geography frame as well as beyond concentration solely on the victims – whose destinies leave them displaced, murdered, raped, tortured, killed.

We are looking exclusively for experienced dancers/performers with a very good contemporary dance technique.

The goal of the workshop is the transmission of an excerpt of the piece dance (praticable). The workshop will consist in working on the different tools that permit to read and interpret the score on which the piece is based. Mainly, we will work on a body practice that approach anatomy and physiology through movement.
