Fokus ove radionice je kreiranje, pisanje, istraživanje i kritika istraživačkog rada četiri jedinstvena interdisciplinarna projekta koja su inicirali koreografi suvremenog plesa Wayne McGregor, Siobhan Davies, William Forsythe i Emio Greco | PC. Proteklih godina ovi koreografi i njihove organizacije rade na nezavisnim istraživanjima potencijala interaktivnih digitalnih medija i vezanih tehnologija kako bi dokumentirali, predstavili, emitirali i diseminirali različite aspekte svoje umjetničke prakse. Raznovrsni i informacijama bogati resurski koje su razvili (uključujući on-line interaktivne skorove, digitalne plesne arhive, koreografske software agente i simulatore za trening u real-time okruženju) su polazišta našeg radioničkog rada.

Scott deLahunta je autor, istraživač i organizator u nizu međunarodnih projekata koji izvedbene umjetnosti, sa posebnim naglaskom na koreografiju, dovode u konjukciju sa drugim disciplinama i praksama. Viši je istraživač na Sveučilištu Coventry, istraživački voditelj sa kompanijom Wayne McGregor|Random Dance, te programski i istraživački koordinator projekta Motion Bank/The Forsythe Company. Član je uredništva časopisâ Performance Research, Dance Theatre Journal i International Journal of Performance and Digital Media.

In Place of War invites submissions for an anthology of plays related to war and conflict zones from across the globe. Works should focus on responses to conflict, historical memory, displacement, experiences of refugees and asylum seekers, conflict resolution, peace, transitional justice and reconciliation.

The plays should be from the conflict zones themselves, by people living and working in those regions.

The plays will be considered by a panel of leading theatre practitioners, directors and academics for inclusion in an anthology of war plays to be published in 2011/12.

Plays will be accepted in any language, however, for those unavailable in English a short synopsis in English would be appreciated. We would like plays written in the last 20 years.

For the sixth time in succession, the transdisciplinary symposium IMPACT invites artists, practitioners theorists and advanced students in the fields of dance, theatre, visual arts, new media and film to take part in a critical discussion of artistic strategies and working methods presented by prominent guest artists.IMPACT encourages its participants to test the premises introduced by these artists in action and examine them in relation to their own backgrounds.

In Philippe Quesne (FR), Tino Sehgal (GB/DE) and Jim Trainor (US), IMPACT10 brings together three artists whose work present radical, subtle and humorous designs for operating in a world that is obsessed by things and by science. They place the audience, animals or cunning object-worlds into the centre of consciousness and then propose alternative spheres of activity. QUESNE creates model worlds on stage which test by proxy "real" life models: man as scientist, artist, entertainer. In his "constructed situations"SEHGAL addresses the relationships between man and object, between art and the market, and transforms actions instead of material. In his animated films, TRAINOR pursues the traces of evolution or human culture and gives voice to animals as well as people playing animals.

IMPACT10 offers a concentrated and motivating space for exchange, action and reflection beyond one's own limitations and perspectives. The daily schedule is determined by the artists themselves and influenced by all participants together. Artists who have contributed to IMPACT to date include : BLAST THEORY (GB), RIMINI PROTOKOLL (D), XAVIER LE ROY (F/D), ANTONI MUNTADAS (ES/US), MIRANDA PENNELL and JOHN SMITH (GB), FORCED ENTERTAINMENT (GB), WERNER NEKES (D), OFFICE FOR METROPOLITAN ARCHITECTURE (NL) and ROMEO CASTELLUCCI (IT).

Workshops with:
PHILIPPE QUESNE (FR): Quesne builds pieces in the manner of experiments with a few select constants. His highly acclaimed productions have been shown at the Wiener Festwochen, the Festival d'Avignon, at the Centre Pompidou and other important venues worldwide.

TINO SEHGAL (GB/ DE): In 2005 he represented Germany at the Venice Biennale, in 2010 he had a solo show at New York's Guggenheim Museum, and his works are included in the collections of the Centre Pompidou, Tate and MoMA.

JIM TRAINOR (US): His animated films have been shown internationally at important festivals and biennales, as well as in well-known museums and other contexts: Whitney Biennale, Museum of Modern Art (New York), Sundance Film Festival, New York Animation Festival, Rotterdam Film Festival, Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen. In 2000, Jim Trainor accepted a teaching position at the prestigious School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

FEAST: Zagreb svojevrsni je umjetnički inkubator koji potiče alternativne ekonomije kojima se zaobilaze posrednici i uspostavlja direktan odnos između umjetnika i publike. FEAST uzima prepoznatljiv format i prenamjenjuje ga u motor vlastite minijaturne ekonomije..

Ukoliko razmišljate o alternativnim načinima potpore umjetničkim projektima, te želite poduprijeti jedan od njih, pozivamo vas da nam se pridružite na događanju na kojemu će se služiti obrok koji će pripremiti članice udruge Slobodne veze. The Sundance Institute Theatre Lab is a three-week play development retreat and in 2011 will be held at The Banff Centre in Alberta, Canada. In The Banff Centre's powerful mountain setting in the heart of Banff National Park, exceptional artists and leaders from around the world create and perform new works of art; share skills and knowledge in an interdisciplinary environment; and explore ideas and develop solutions in the arts and leadership.

The Sundance Institute Theatre Lab provides a private creative environment for playwrights, directors, composers and librettists to develop new work with the support of dramaturgs and full casts. Operated under the umbrella of the Sundance Institute, founded by Robert Redford, the Theatre Lab offers an independent-minded community for artists to engage with their work, ask questions, build text and take risks.

Eligibility

The Theatre Lab welcomes applications for projects at any stage of development. Submitted work cannot have been previously produced, but may have received prior workshops or readings. In addition, projects scheduled to receive a production before July 17, 2011 are not eligible due to our agreement with Actors' Equity Association. Commissioned work is eligible for submission, however playwrights must obtain written permission from their commissioning organization prior to applying.

Playwrights, directors, composers, ensembles, performance artists or choreographers may submit applications. Playwright/director teams are permitted and encouraged to apply together; however, if you do not have a director attached to your project, please note that the Sundance Institute will help to match you up with a director if your play is selected for inclusion in the Theatre Lab. Many emerging playwrights do not have access to a director and Sundance Institute is positioned to match these artists with an experienced director.

Sundance Institute is interested in both established and emerging theatre artists, as well as artists making a transition from areas outside of theatre. We welcome solo performers and projects for young audiences. Participants must be available for the entire length of the Theatre Lab (March 27-April 17, 2011). Artists may only submit one application. Previous applicants may re-apply, but not with previously submitted material.

Project Selection

Through open submissions, we consider an estimated 700+ projects. Sundance Institute looks for original, compelling, human stories that reflect the independent vision of the theatre artist. We are interested in supporting a diverse and daring group of theatre artists who tell unique stories, present material in a new form, or conceptualize existing material with an innovative vision. We look for writers and collaborators who are interested in genuinely exploring their material. The Theatre Lab is more than a place to "rehearse"; it is an environment that encourages and supports risk-taking, experimentation, and rigorous re-writing and re-imagining. In order for Sundance Institute to fully evaluate your submission, we require a 500-word page artistic statement from both the playwright and the director as part of the application.

What Sundance Provides

The Sundance Institute Theatre Program provides professional actors, dramaturgs, rehearsal space and stage management for the collaborative team working on each project as well as round-trip airfare, accommodations and meals. At the end of the Theatre Lab, projects will culminate in an informal presentation for the Lab community only, followed by a feedback session with Sundance Institute artistic staff and guest Creative Advisors.

Each full-time Fellow (playwright, director, collaborators) receives a $500 honorarium and company of actors (if applicable), selected by Sundance Institute in collaboration with the Fellows, to support their project. Actors are selected for their professionalism, versatility and suitability for the development process. Actors operate on a Special Agreement with Actors' Equity Association during the Theatre Lab. If you are an AEA actor and would like to be considered for the acting company during the Theatre Lab, you are invited to send your headshot and résumé to the address or e-mail below. We will review all submissions with the Sundance Institute Theatre Lab casting director. The Theatre Program holds Equity Principal Auditions once a year. Please refer to the Actors' Equity website for scheduling information. NOTE: All participants for the 2011 Theatre Lab at the Banff Centre must possess a valid and current passport.

Sundance Institute dramaturgs, a team of highly skilled professionals made up of affiliated senior dramaturgs and guest dramaturgs with wide experience in the realm of new play development, are uniquely qualified to provide engaged, considered and empowering guidance to the projects during the Theatre Labs, to offer fresh perspectives on the work at hand, and to ensure the primacy of the participating artist's independent vision. Each Lab sees itself as a complement to, not a replacement of, any pre-existing developmental relationships participating artists may have on a given project, and is sensitive to the process of "passing the baton" at the conclusion of the Labs. We strongly encourage that each rehearsal room is open to members of the Lab community for quiet observation. If you do not feel comfortable allowing colleagues to observe your rehearsal process, the Sundance Institute Theatre Program may not be the most appropriate place for you.

How to Apply

Step One

Complete the online application form and upload the your materials electronically. After submitting your materials online, you will receive an email that contains your Log Number. Please use this number in all communications with the Theatre Program. Materials to include:

TkH centar (Beograd) i Kontrapunkt (Skoplje) objavljuju poziv za učešće u jednogodišnjem programu kolektivnog samoobrazovanja u umetnosti i kulturi – Raškolovano znanje.
Projekat je namenjen studentima umetnosti, humanistike i društvenih nauka, profesionalcima i kulturnim radnicima iz Beograda i Skoplja, koji su zainteresovani za rad na nezavisnim scenama.
Cilj Raškolovanog znanja je da istraži i promoviše alternative hijerarhijskom modelu obrazovanja u umetnosti i kulturi. Metodološki, projekat napušta koncepte individualnog autorstva i ekspertize, i zagovara kolektivne samoobrazovne strukture u kojima se sprovodi horizontalna produkcija, razmena i distribucija znanja.

Raškolovano znanje je partnerski projekat TkH (Teorija koja hoda) platforme za teoriju i praksu izvođačkih umetnosti iz Beograda (http://tkh-generator.net) i organizacije Kontrapunkt iz Skoplja (http://kontrapunkt-mk.org), a finansijski je podržan od strane Švajcarskog Programa za Kulturu za Zapadni Balkan (www.scp-ba.net).
Ko-autorke projekta su: Marta Popivoda, Ana Vujanović i Iskra Gešoska.

STRUKTURA PROGRAMA:

Radne grupe, aktivnosti, uslovi učešća

Radne grupe
Proces kolektivnog samoobrazovanja je strukturiran kroz radne grupe, okupljene oko određene oblasti/teme. Oblasti ponuđene za 2010/11. su:
• Kulturna politika nezavisnih scena,
• Umetnost i aktivizam (performans, film i Internet) i
• Umetnost i/kao politika (repolitizacija diskursa humanistike).

Oblasti su definisane sa namerom da projektom obezbedimo prostor za produkciju i razmenu znanja koja su deficitarna na lokalnim nezavisnim scenama, a bitna za njihovo kritičko promišljanje, afirmaciju i razvoj. Pri tome smo vodili računa da pokrijemo ključne razine delovanja: kulturnu politiku/menadžment, umetničku praksu i teoriju umetnosti.
Zainteresovani se na konkursu prijavljuju za jednu od ponuđenih oblasti. Nakon što se oforme radne grupe, učesnicima je ostavljeno da specifičnije definišu temu/problematiku svog rada, kao i da osmisle pristupe i metode rada na njoj, uz teorijsku podršku i pomoć programskih urednica i koordinatora.
Radne grupe imaju regionalni karakter i uključuju po 6 učesnika iz Beograda i Skoplja (ukupno 18 učesnika).

Aktivnosti
Učesnici će tokom ciklusa 2010/2011. proći kroz sledeće aktivnosti:
• Otvorena nedelja – kratki program radionica, predavanja, prezentacija i susreta učesnika prve i druge generacije Raškolovanog znanja. Otvorena nedelja će biti u Skoplju, 08-11. juna 2010. Pored programa sa lokalnim i internacionalnim gostima, učesnici prve generacije će tokom Otvorene nedelje organizovati javne prezentacije svog rada i saradničkih projekata/radova.
• Letnja škola – intenzivan jednonedeljni obrazovni program. Sadržaj programa, kao i listu gostujućih saradnika će kreirati zajedno urednice projekta i učesnici radnih grupa. Formati rada na Letnjoj školi su takođe predmet dogovora. Letnja škola će biti u Crnoj Gori, u avgustu 2010. godine.
• Inkubator – šestomesečni istraživački proces radnih grupa. Plan, program i dinamiku rada će osmisliti sami učesnici. U formalnom smislu, Inkubator uključuje: kontinuirani samoobrazovni proces radnih grupa, na sastancima uživo, putem emailing lista, Skypa i video linka, kao i programe gostujućih saradnika. Inkubator traje od septembra 2010. do februara 2011.
• Timeshare kamp – programsko-organizaciona struktura koja nudi smeštaj, produkciju i prostorno-tehničke uslove za zajednički rad grupa u periodu mart-april 2011, u Beogradu i Skoplju. Timeshare kamp dolazi nakon istraživačkog Inkubatora, kao okvir za realizaciju zajedničkih kulturnih inicijativa ili radova. (To može biti instalacija, video rad, okrugli sto, performans, veb sajt, publikacija i sl.)

Uslovi učešća:
Učešće u programu Raškolovanog znanja je u celini besplatno.
Pored toga, učesnicima su obezbeđeni: materijalni uslovi za istraživanje i rad (prostor, tehnička oprema, literatura i sl), pokriveni su troškovi putovanja i smeštaja za sve programe njihove radne grupe koji se realizuju u drugom gradu (Otvorena nedelja, Letnja škola, programi tokom Inkubatora, Timeshare kamp), i obezbeđeni produkcijsko-tehnički uslovi izrade kolektivnog rada (skroman budžet, prostor, tehnika, organizacija). .
Zauzvrat se očekuje volja za delovanjem na nezavisnoj sceni, aktivno učešće u programskim aktivnostima, poštovanje kolega, otvorenost za problematizaciju i odgovornost za kolektivni samoobrazovni proces.
Bilo kakva diskriminacija na etničkoj, polnoj, seksualnoj, religioznoj, starosnoj itd. osnovi u okviru rada u Raškolovanom znanju nije prihvatljiva.

Tokom selekcioniranja učesnika bilo kakva diskriminacija na etničkoj, polnoj, seksualnoj, religioznoj, starosnoj itd. osnovi je isključena.

- narativne biografije, sa ličnim podacima i kontaktom (do 500 reči),
- jednog primera vašeg rada (u bilo kom mediju), i

The Swiss Cultural Programme in the Western Balkans (SCP) supports regional cooperation projects in the fields of culture and arts in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia.

The overall goals of the Swiss Cultural Programme are to contribute to the promotion of democracy and freedom of expression, to conflict resolution, to intercultural dialogue and respect for minorities. The programme fosters regional cooperation through capacity building, empowerment and promotion of cultural initiatives and organisations, which offer innovative and diversified cultural services and products.

The Swiss Cultural Programme in the Western Balkans invites cultural organisations, initiatives, networks and/or associations from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia, both from the non-governmental and governmental sector, for submission of concepts for Regional Cooperation Projects.

The submitted Project Concepts should be aligned with SCP thematic priorities. These include youth, gender equity and the creation of structures for broad cultural participation while taking into account good governance principles - accountability, transparency, non-discrimination, participation, and efficiency. The project should also:

§ Be relevant to the regional context of the Western Balkans

§ Have a regional orientation by involving organisations from at least two of the above mentioned countries

§ Contribute to the development of culture and arts in the field in which they are operating

§ Offer innovative approach and diversified services and products

§ Aim at improving the situation in the region by strengthening culture and cultural life as an essential element of a participatory, open and dynamic civil society.

§ Aim at involving other donors public or private, bilateral or multilateral as much as possible. A minimum of 25% co-financing is required.

Admission criteria
The program requires BA exam in art, 120 p/180 hp, including choreographic composition, or an equivalent international education and comparable professional choreographic experiences.
Applicants without formal exams must validate fundamental criteria for university studies.
The program utilizes Swedish and English.

The University of Dance and Circus are happy to announce the possibility to, on short notice, welcome two new students to join the present group of five students. Due to special events two additional positions at the program for choreography MA, University for Dance and Circus have been made possible for immediate application and start due the 19 April 2010.

Choreography is a proactive artistic dimension in contemporary society. The field choreography offers expansive actual and symbolic tools for the production and analysis of movement as a generic concept; explores processes and modes of production, collaboration, participation and creation of meaning. The concept of choreography is an open and inclusive field that spans a wide array of disciplines, operating across disciplines, media, discourses, practices, modes of analysis and production

Choreography envisages conventional and alternative modes of expressions, operating in respect of specific structural, strategic and tactical capacities, correlated to spatial and conceptual locations in constant dialogue with contemporary and established practical, applied and theoretical discourses.

Choreography as a research field is expansive and general on the level of expression and specific on levels of structure and strategy. It is an open ended cluster of spatio-temporal dynamisms due production, images, action, relations, writing and being.

Research in the subject of choreography thus contributes to the development of society and an expanded awareness of forms of expression and their imprint on our contemporary world.

The program in choreography offers a research-intensive environment where practice and theory is intermingled due approaches that emphasizes production of knowledge and innovative modes of analysis and production in choreography. The program focuses on the student’s individual needs and requirements although organized around a larger degree of guided learning experiences. Modes of production, collaboration, experience, participation, representation is stressed in front of elaboration of aesthetic expression and composition.

Participation in international networks is an important part of the program next to active engagements in the local and national choreography context.

The program aim at offering the student opportunities to invent a radically individual practice independent of expression or discipline, choreography is not a location, something recognizable, it is a state of being.

27. TJEDAN SUVREMENOG PLESA
Hrvatska koreografska platforma
/31.05.2010. – 02.06.2010./

Hrvatski institut za pokret i ples objavljuje natjecaj za sudjelovanje u programu festivala 27. Tjedan suvremenog plesa. Festival se održava od 24. svibnja do 02. lipnja 2010. u Zagrebu, Rijeci I Splitu. Natjecaj je namijenjen profesionalnim plesnim umjetnicima i skupinama suvremenog plesa koji djeluju na podrucju Hrvatske kao i umjetnicima koji su porijeklom iz Hrvatske a djeluju u inozemstvu.

Ove godine namijenili smo Hrvatsku koreografsku platformu organizirati u razdoblju od 31.05.2010. – 02.06.2010. Ovaj dogadaj se organizacijski djelomice preklapa sa ISPA medunarodnom konferencijom koju u Zagrebu organizira LADO. Uz platformu cemo u suradnji sa ISPA konferencijom organizirati i pregled hrvatske plesne scene i to na dva nacina.

a) posebnim susretom/ okruglim stolom I neformalnim druženjem
b) organizacijom putem posebnog natjecaja za tzv. “pitch session” kojeg ce provesti ISPA I putem kojeg ce se odabrati ograniceni broj autora koji ce imati priliku predstaviti svoje nove (neizvedene projekte) medunarodnim promotorima koji su sudionici ISPA mreže/ konferencije.

Molimo sve zainteresirane da svoje prijedloge upute najkasnije do 30. ožujka 2010. godine dostave svoje prijedloge I iskaz interesa za odabir za nastup u okviru Hrvatske koreografske platforme. Poziv za “pitch session” sprovest ce se izravno putem organizatora ISPA konferencije u Zagrebu.

Odabrat ce se 2 programske cjeline u slijedecim kategorijama:
1. Samostalni mladi autori – s 3-5 ranije realiziranih radova razlicitog trajanja, a predstavljeni javnosti u profesionalnim uvjetima. U ovoj kategoriji odabrati ce se najviše 4 autora s radovima u trajanju 20 minuta (namjera je prikazati te radove na istoj pozornici tijekom jedne veceri).
2. Samostalni cjelovecernji rad – za umjetnike koji su tijekom svoje karijere u posljednjih pet godina ostvarili najmanje 5 cjelovecernja rada (trajanja do 30 minuta) u profesionalnim uvjetima.
3. Plesne skupine - mogu prijaviti profesionalne autorske radove u vlastitoj produkciji. Ukoliko se radi o naslovu koji je premijerno izvedeno u ovoj sezoni uvjet je da predstava nije izvedena u Zagrebu najmanje 60 dana uoci festivala te da nije imala vise od 3 izvedbe u Zagrebu u navedenom periodu. Produkcija ne smije biti starija od 1 godine. Odabrat ce se najviše 2 skupine/ dva djela/naslova.

Prijave treba dostaviti najkasnije do 30. ožujka 2010. na adresu festivala :

Prijava treba sadržavati:
- ispunjenu prijavnicu
- životopis autora
- DVD/video: ne-editirana verzija snimljena jednom kamerom, centralno locirana, bez
zoomiranja)
- press dossier
- kritike (ukoliko je predstava vec izvodena)
- nacrt rasvjete

Kandidati moraju garantirati da su izvodaci prijavljenog rada u vrijeme prijave i sve do objave rezultata natjecaja slobodni da nastupe u vrijeme utvrdeno za održavanje festivala 2010. godine. Festival ce se u konacnoj odluci rukovoditi financijskim i tehnickim uvjetima koji su dostupni festivalu. Sve tehnicke uvjete te troškove najma dodatne tehnike (Festival ima na raspolaganju odredene, ogranicene tehnicke resurse) kao i honorare suradnika snose kandidati sami iz honorara prema ugovoru s Festivalom. Putni troškovi, ukoliko se radi o prijedlogu kandidata koji djeluju izvan Zagreba, moraju biti naznaceni u prijedlogu. Naknadna traženja nece se uvažiti.

Rezultati ce biti objavljeni najkasnije do 10. travnja 2010. godine.

Pozivamo Vas da se prijavite za učešće na 14. međunarodnom Festivalu koreografskih minijatura koji će se održati 12.maja 2010.godine na sceni Narodnog pozorišta u Beogradu, u organizaciji Udruženja baletskih umetnika Srbije.

Uslovi za učešće:
premijerno izvođenje koreografije na Festivalu
maksimalno trajanje koreografije je 10 minuta

::NAGRADE::
Petočlani međunarodni stručni žiri proglasiće tri najbolje koreografske minijature Festivala i dodeliće nagrade (bronzanu statetu) i diplomu Udruženja baletskih umetnika Srbije, pohvale i Plaketu „Aleksandar Izrailovski“ kao i:

Na Festivalu će biti dedeljena i Nagrada kritike (na osnovu odluke tročlanog stručnog žirija) i Nagrada publike.
Udruženje baletskih umetnika Srbije ove godine pokreće dugoročni Program podrške domaćim koreografima – Nagrada "Ohrabrenje". Umetničko veće UBUS-a će tokom finalne takmičarske večeri odabrati najbolji rad domaćeg koreografa kome će UBUS obezbediti produkciju celovečernje predstave, a koja će se premijerno izvesti u okviru 15. Festivala koreografskih minijatura 2011. godine. Pozivamo domaće koreografe da svojom koreografskom minijaturom na ovogodišnjem Festivalu konkurišu za produkciju celovečernje predstave.

::PRIJAVE::
Prijave moraju stići u direkciju Festivala najkasnije do 10.aprila 2010. god.
Prijava za Festival se sastoji od:

Selektovani takmičari moraju da potvrde svoje učešće na Festivalu, do 20. aprila 2010. god.
Za učesnike Festivala koji ne stanuju u Beogradu obezbeđen je smeštaj (noćenje sa doručkom u hostelu).
